This detailed training pack and accompanying slides were developed based on sessions run during the three skills sharing workshops held in 2015 and 2016. The pack is designed for community leaders to run their own UN advocacy training with their groups and peers. Arranged into 4 training days, with a total of 16 separate sessions, the pack enables groups to educate themselves on issues ranging from putting together a theory of the case, to understanding the UN Human rights mechanisms, and activities for identifying issues and setting goals, strategic coalition building and communication through shadow reports, oral interventions and media strategies.
